Excellent deduction Komikado. 😀 Just started watching this J-Dorama, Legal High.
Merry Christmas!
Just a quick post on Kyouryuuger Ep 27, the introduction of mini-tyra and Kyouryuu Red Carnival, pointing two things that made me laugh.
First, is this.
LOL. Seriously, is that necessary? Is TOEI desperate to attract the fan girls demographic? 😀
Second, did King just kill the cute mini Gabutyra?
Yes, he just twisted Gabutyra’s neck 180 degrees! LOL. Poor mini-tyra. Don’t do this at home kids!
Found this funny scenario from pixiv. The four Kamen Riders (Wizard, Fourze, OOO, and W) are ready to henshin…
And when they are trying to henshin…
…we have this. LOL. Basically, recent riders have their belts talk and sing, especially Wizard and OOO. So we have Wizard’s belt singing, Fourze’s belt counting down, OOO’s belt singing, and Fourze’s yelling “Uchuu Kitaa!.” Meanwhile, Shotaro is trying to call Philip to henshin, and Philip couldn’t hear him because of all the noise. 😀 I really really want to see this scene enacted in the actual live-action movie because it would be extremely hilarious, but I think W actors are not in contract anymore.
LOL. Kamen Rider Wizard duct-tape version. This guy is hilarious, and apparently he’s pretty big now. I remembered when he was making parody videos of Kamen Rider henshins using Nemo toy. Alas, I couldn’t find those videos anymore, probably taken down by TOEI. At that time, everything seems to be amateur-ish home-made videos. Now, he even went to London for the Olympics!
Of course, bringing wacky Japan-punishing game to the white people.
LOL. Amazing guy. From a home-made amateur funny videos to international professional Youtube channel. And still did a Kamen Rider parody!
Natsumikan is probably Decade’s most powerful enemy.
To be honest, I’m getting disappointed with Decade.
1. In the 1st episode, Seto Koji appeared, reprising his role as Wataru. As a fan, that makes me think they might bring the main casts form the previous series, making Decade like a reunion series, like the annual Super Sentai versus where new casts meet the old casts. Alas, that’s not the case. So far, all the other Rider’s world are alternate universe, and no cameos at all. Even Kiva’s world episodes didn’t have Seto Koji in it. Forget about Mizushima Hiro returning as Kabuto then, he’s probably too busy with his new marriage and movie. Also, no Takeru Sato in the Super Den-O and Decade movie either. No Kento Handa in the Faiz world either (even though he appeared in Go-Onger).
2. Kamen Rider Decade started with a bang, the Rider War. All the special effects and CG you can think of is in the 1st episode. Fast forward, now they have to use a freakin in-animated toy for Kivala. It was so obvious that it’s just a toy with a string. Very embarrassing for a show that have been using CGs heavily, especially for the Final From Ride transformations.
3. Decade can use a Final Form Ride card, and “transform” any of the riders into a weapon or some sort. WTF? It’s just weird. This is not Transformers. This is obviously a ploy to sell toys.
The belt is very neat though, but you have to buy the other toys to get more cards.
Good thing that Shinkenger seems to be a better show.
All the guys in Go-Onger cross dressing. LOL. Hiroto blinded me with his pink dress.
Kamen Rider Kiva Ep40 brough IXA back to Nago, and he’s cool again, at least for a moment. I hate Kengo, and I’m glad Nago got IXA back. However, this episode ended with a cliffhanger. Will IXA survive Saga’s finishing attack? I hope so, I hope they don’t kill Nago.
I’m not really a fan of American cartoons in general. They’re usually unoriginal, poorly drawn & animated, have lifeless characters and no story, and the supposedly comedies are hardly funny. Most people are familiar with Family Guy. It piqued my interest when the Blue Harvest DVD was advertised during Apple’s Macworld 08 keynote. It’s a cartoon about the Griffin family, taking cues form the Simpson. There’s Peter the father, Lois the wife, Meg the daugther, Chris the son, Stewie the baby, and Brian the dog.
Peter is the standard idiot, kinda like Homer Simpson. Chris is also dumb, probably more than Peter. Lois and Meg are normal. The episodes and scenes that focus on anybody other than Stewie and Brian are rarely funny and the typical brainless American cartoon. What makes Family Guy interesting is Stewie and Brian. Brian is the family’s dog that can talk, walk on 2 feet, and is very cultured (he always reads newspaper, drinks martini, etc). Stewie is the family’s baby, but able to speak sophisticated English, with an accent, and has an evil plan to rule the world. What makes him hilarious is his vile mouth. Although most of the shows are boring/not funny, Stewie and Brian always give me a chuckle or two.
